The Tartan Scarf ♡

(I tried and failed to do that cute tumblr thing where you take a picture of you throwing leaves in the air well done ellie)

For me, one of my most important autumn staples is a tartan scarf. It keeps you warm, but also adds a lot to an outfit. The colours of the scarf really bring some colour to your outfit and it also really brings an outfit together. My scarf is a bright reddy orange, navy and dark green pattern, although the red and navy together make a burgundy as well. The colours are so autumnal yet they go with every outfit. You can wear a scarf with an oversized jumper and jeans, a dress, a cute top with a skirt and tights, or anything. 100% a staple in my books. If you don't have one, go out and get yourself a tartan scarf. You won't regret it.
This is quite a different post to my normal ones but when I was doing more fashion and style posts I loved it so I wanted to do some more. I want to apologise for the really bad quality of the pictures - I was thinking about just not posting this but I really liked writing and taking pictures for this. I don't know why the quality is so so so bad, maybe it was the light or maybe I just need to get a camera. Anyways I hope you enjoyed this post, see you next post...

October Favourites ♡

What. The. What. How is it the end of October already. I swear it was only September yesterday. The last favourites post I did was in August but I have loads of things that I have been loving which I can't wait to talk about so lets just get on with it.
Seventeen Shadow Brush - £1.99
I have been really getting into doing different eyeshadow looks recently and I literally use this brush for everything. I should probably get a new one because I love this for packing shadow on the lid, crease work, blending and literally everything. It applied so well and makes your makeup look flawless so for the price I 100% recommend it.
Maybelline Colour Tattoo - £4.99
Who remembers the time when I used to go on about this constantly and just be obsessed with it? Well that's happened again. It is such a gorgeous creamy texture and glides onto the eye really easily with a beautiful beautiful metallic bronze colour.
Cranberry Eyeshadow - palette is £7.99
When I'm not wearing the colour tattoo, I am most likely wearing cranberry eyeshadow, not any particular one in particular (although its usually the one from my Sleek Palette), just the colour. I think it looks gorgeous smoked out in the crease and outer corner of the eye with a light brown or pinky toned champagne and it looks so autumnal and pretty.
Benefit They're Real Mascara - £19.90
This mascara is so heart eyes emoji. It's still not as good as my Collection one (I did a whole post comparing them which you can read here) but it makes your lashes look INCREDIBLE and I really love it.
Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick 107 - £5.49
Autumn = dark lips and I have been obsessed with this lipstick ever since I bought it. It is an amazing dark red lipstick. It goes on so well and looks so pretty - I also did a whole review of that which you can read here.

Alberto Balsam Raspberry Shampoo & Conditioner - £1 each
When I was coming to Spain, I needed to buy some new shampoo and conditioner but I couldn't get to the Body Shop to buy my usual ones so I picked these up because I had heard a lot of people talking about them and I love them, they make my hair feel so soft and silky and wow, it is so great.
Tartan Scarf
I have literally been wearing this every day since I bought it and it is the softest, prettiest thing which goes with every single outfit. OBSESSED.
WILD - Troye Sivan
I don't stop talking about this but I love every song on the album, Troye's voice and music is so amazing and I can't wait for Blue Neighbourhood.
Divergent
I read this book throughout the end of September and beginning of October and I find it really hard to find books that I really enjoy but this is such a good book. I really want to see the movie too.
And those were my favourites this month. What have you been loving in October?

Little Autumn Fashion Haul ♡

Its no secret that I'm a complete shopaholic. And as I keep saying, autumn fashion is my favourite, so I have been picking up a few items recently, so I thought I would put them together into a collective autumn fashion haul. I have only bought three things but I think they are all so amazing and special and I know they are all going to be staple pieces for me.

Lefties
So this shop has so many beautiful pieces in (according to my aunt it sells old stock of Zara but I can never find anything that I like and fits/suits me in there so it confuses me). Anyway I picked up a pair of jeggings in here. They fit me super well, other than they are a bit long but I'm tiny so I was expecting that and I can just roll them up. They are a dark grey faded kind of colour, and I know I'm going to wear them a lot as they go with everything and would just look perfect with a cosy jumper or a cute top.

Natura
There was a bit of a saga with this but as soon as I saw it I fell in love with it and a couple of weeks later I got it and it is so so cute. It is oversized and has bat wings which I have always seen people wearing but never tried, and I love it. I also think the quote on it is so important. I think it would look really cute with some jeans and boots and a scarf.

Bijou Brigitte
I have been wanting a new scarf for a while now, and I saw a huge tartan one in this shop, but I tried it on and it completely drowned me out so I looked at some others and found this one and fell in love with it. It is a gorgeous red, burgundy and green and maybe even a bit of navy tartan scarf. I am honestly obsessed with it, the colours are so autumnal but the red is also quite vibrant so it goes with everything but it brings a bit of colour to an outfit.

That's everything I've been buying recently. Not much but quality over quantity eh? Hope you all enjoyed this post, be sure to leave me a comment if you did. If you want me to do a lookbook with these items and some more let me know and I will definitely do that.

What have you been buying recently?

Autumn Fashion Roundup ♡

I love autumn. But you know that, because I'm always going on about that. But one reason why I love autumn is the fashion. At some point, in autumn I will be doing a look book kind of post, but for now I thought I would browse the wonderful world of online shopping and find some clothes which I personally think are perfect for autumn and what's in fashion right now. This is also a part of me and Emma's autumn series so I will of course out her links at the bottom and she is doing an autumn fashion post too but I think she is doing a look book.

New Look

Scarves, to me, are a must in autumn. They keep you warm, look beautiful and really bring an outfit together. This one is a classic red plaid print. I am definitely going to pick this up (although honestly I want to pick up every piece in this post, otherwise they wouldn't be included).
I know a lot of people love wearing black leggings in autumn, but you could add something extra to your outfit by wearing a pair of patterned leggings instead.
I've seen a lot of people, on YouTube and out and about, wearing this colour recently. It's called Rust and that name makes it sound like it would be a gross colour, but it really isn't.
Jumpers are the ultimate autumn staple.
I am honestly in love with this jumper and this, the scarf and one other thing, are top of my autumn wishlist. I love the design and the colour just screams autumn.
This is the other thing that's at the top of my autumn wishlist. They are very on trend right now and they are just a staple that go with everything and look amazing, so I definitely recommend you pick some up.
High necks are a world I've never explored, but a very popular world, and this top just looks very classic with the stripes and high neck.

Topshop
Every youtuber has been putting this in their autumn hauls (and trust me, I've watched probably every one on YouTube) and it is just a gorgeous denim jacket with a fur lining. How can you not be in love with this?

H&M
Little cardigans like this are perfect for layering. And khaki is such a beautiful autumnal colour.
I've kind of fallen in love with this dress. The pattern is so different and I love how the high neck and three quarter length sleeves work together. This would look perfect with some black tights and a pair of booties.

I could go on about autumn fashion all day, but I think I'll leave it there. I hope you enjoyed this post, it was different to my normal posts but I really enjoyed writing it. If you want the links to any of these items, just comment or contact me and I will give it to you. I hope this inspired you to adventure with clothing a bit more or if it just made you want to go shopping, sorry!

Do you prefer autumn fashion or summer fashion?

Berries, Baths & Bonfires Tag♡

Autumn is here. It's October. But let's not talk about that because I dont think you want to hear me rant about how excited I am for autumn. And October. Wow. So last week me and Emma started our autumn series and today we have our own new tag for you all.
We thought of 10 questions, some beauty, some random, all autumn related and cosy. (I don't know how a question can be cosy but they are.)
Anyway, let's start off this tag.
1. Favourite thing about autumn?
The cosiness. Everyone says that and its hard to explain but I love when its raining outside and the sound of beautiful orange and brown leaves crunching under your feet and I love the fashion and makeup in autumn too.
2. Go To Autumn Eye Look?
Bronze. I mentioned this in my essentials post but bronzey toned eyeshadows and winged eyeliner or a more natural look to go with a darker lip.
3. Favourite Autumn Lip Product?
So I currently am in need of a makeup shopping spree to buy a load of darker lip products, I am especially wanting to buy Rimmel Kate Moss 107 but my favourite one at the moment (again mentioned in my essentials post) is the Clarins Satin Finish Lipstick in Woodrose.
4. Favourite Autumn Sweater?
I got this new sweater recently and I'm kind of obsessed with it. It's grey and oversized and it says 'The Best Things In Life Aren't Things' which I thing is a very true and deep and cute quote, its from a spanish shop called Natura. I also am still obsessed with this fluffy grey jumper I got last year from New Look.
5. Favourite Autumn Trend?
Oversized sweaters and a pair of jeans or jeggings. I really want some black jeans but I don't have any yet. I also love big scarves and beanies. And cute coats. And burgundy and khaki, I think they are very autumnal and gorgeous colours. I said I loved autumn fashion, I wasn't lying.
6. Favourite Autumn Pamper Product?
Lush products and my Zoella Soak Opera bubble bath as it makes my Baths full of bubbles and smell amazing.
7. Bath Bombs or Bubble Bars?
Bath bombs. I love bubble bars but bath bombs I find just so unique and cool, the way you put this in the bath and it creates all colours and some of them fizz and they smell amazing.
8. Best way to chill in autumn?
Have a pamper evening. Have a lush bath and then wrap up in blankets and watch a movie with hot chocolate then go to sleep.
9. Favourite Halloween show or movie?
Hmmm. Well I don't know if I really have a favourite because I hardly ever watch scary movies but um...one good movie that is a bit scary but not too scary is Hot Fuzz. It's scary but funny at the same time so even though it's not a Halloween movie I really like that.
10. Tea, Coffee or Hot Chocolate?
Well. Not coffee, that's for sure. I hate coffee. I love tea as a kind of everyday kind of drink but its also nice on a pamper evening to have a hot chocolate as its a bit sweeter, and more special, but I don't know how I can pick between them.
Now onto the boring stuff. For anyone tagged here are the questions:
1. Favourite thing about autumn?
2. Go To Autumn Eye Look?
3. Favourite Autumn Lip Product?
4. Favourite Autumn Sweater?
5. Favourite Autumn Trend
6. Favourite Autumn Pamper Product?
7. Bath Bombs or Bubble Bars?
8. Best way to chill in autumn?
9. Favourite Halloween show or movie?
10. Tea, Coffee or Hot Chocolate?
I decided not to include pictures as I don't want this to be posted too late and most of the things I mention in this post were included in my Autumn Essentials anyway but if you were tagged then its up to you whether to include pictures or not.
Favourite thing about autumn?

Mini Beauty & Fashion Haul♡

I love shopping. A bit too much. I tried to stop myself but I have ended up doing even more. I haven't bought loads, just one clothing item, a few makeup and beauty bits and a book, but I thought I would do a little haul anyway and let you guys know what I bought.

Miss Selfridge Top
I can't find this on the website but as you can see from my picture it is the most gorgeous halter neck black top with a pink and blue aztec pattern. I am absolutely in love with it and it was £12 from Miss Selfridge.

Paper Towns - John Green
I've read about eighty pages of this already which is amazing for me because I'm really not that into reading. I used to love it but nowadays I can never find books that I find that gripping. Until this one, I'm sure its going to be amazing and I can't wait to see the film too. This was £8.99 and I got it from the bookshop in my village.
Original Source Vanilla & Raspberry Shower Gel
I've mentioned this in quite a few posts before but this is my favourite shower gel - it cleans well and smells amazing. I ran out so I had to pick up a new one. (I couldn't take a picture of this as it is already in my shower being used.)

Collection Eyes Uncovered Nude Bronze Palette
This is amazing so far! It was £4 and it has 6 bronzey toned neutral shades. I love my Sleek Palette but I've been using it so much and I felt like I needed to switch it up a bit so I decided to pick this up as there was loads of hype around these a couple of months ago and I wanted to see if it was worth the hype. So far it is, but I'll probably do a review on it when I've tried it out more.

Soap & Glory Festival Survival Stash
This set is so amazing! If you bought it all separately it would be £35 yet they are selling it for £15. They didn't have it in my local Boots but I saw it on the website and decided I needed it, especially as I basically needed to repurchase or wanted to try anyway all the products in here. *they didn't sponsor me I am just amazed at how much of a bargain and how amazing this is!*
It includes:
Supercat Eyeliner
Thick & Fast Mascara
Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss
Hand Maid Hand Sanitizer
Off Your Face Makeup Wipes
Mist You Madly Body Spray
Isn't that amazing for £15? Me thinks it is! (who got the Wild Child quote? :)) )
What have you been buying recently?
