October Favourites ♡

What. The. What. How is it the end of October already. I swear it was only September yesterday. The last favourites post I did was in August but I have loads of things that I have been loving which I can't wait to talk about so lets just get on with it.
Seventeen Shadow Brush - £1.99
I have been really getting into doing different eyeshadow looks recently and I literally use this brush for everything. I should probably get a new one because I love this for packing shadow on the lid, crease work, blending and literally everything. It applied so well and makes your makeup look flawless so for the price I 100% recommend it.
Maybelline Colour Tattoo - £4.99
Who remembers the time when I used to go on about this constantly and just be obsessed with it? Well that's happened again. It is such a gorgeous creamy texture and glides onto the eye really easily with a beautiful beautiful metallic bronze colour.
Cranberry Eyeshadow - palette is £7.99
When I'm not wearing the colour tattoo, I am most likely wearing cranberry eyeshadow, not any particular one in particular (although its usually the one from my Sleek Palette), just the colour. I think it looks gorgeous smoked out in the crease and outer corner of the eye with a light brown or pinky toned champagne and it looks so autumnal and pretty.
Benefit They're Real Mascara - £19.90
This mascara is so heart eyes emoji. It's still not as good as my Collection one (I did a whole post comparing them which you can read here) but it makes your lashes look INCREDIBLE and I really love it.
Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick 107 - £5.49
Autumn = dark lips and I have been obsessed with this lipstick ever since I bought it. It is an amazing dark red lipstick. It goes on so well and looks so pretty - I also did a whole review of that which you can read here.

Alberto Balsam Raspberry Shampoo & Conditioner - £1 each
When I was coming to Spain, I needed to buy some new shampoo and conditioner but I couldn't get to the Body Shop to buy my usual ones so I picked these up because I had heard a lot of people talking about them and I love them, they make my hair feel so soft and silky and wow, it is so great.
Tartan Scarf
I have literally been wearing this every day since I bought it and it is the softest, prettiest thing which goes with every single outfit. OBSESSED.
WILD - Troye Sivan
I don't stop talking about this but I love every song on the album, Troye's voice and music is so amazing and I can't wait for Blue Neighbourhood.
Divergent
I read this book throughout the end of September and beginning of October and I find it really hard to find books that I really enjoy but this is such a good book. I really want to see the movie too.
And those were my favourites this month. What have you been loving in October?

Halloween Nail Art Ideas ♡

I do like Halloween, I'm just a lot more a Christmas person, so that's why there haven't been many Halloween posts. But I have one for you today.
So today I'm going to be showing you a couple of easy nail art (I say that but they are so easy and quick they are hardly nail art) ideas for Halloween. These would be great if you were going to a party and just wanted something to make you look a little halloweeny, or would basically go with most looks if you were dressing up.
I decided it would be a whole lot easier to show you all how to do it using fake nails but you can do it straight onto your nails if you want.

Idea 1 - Gravestone Nails
So the first idea is gravestone nails. It's pretty simple.
1. Paint your whole nail a silver or grey colour, I've gone for a metallic silver. Do as many coats as you think you need.
2. Make sure the base is completely dry (you can use a top coat if you want).
3. Take a nail art pen and get drawing using the freehand part. If you don't have a nail art pen, or don't have the right colour pen, you can dip a cocktail stick a tiny bit into the colour you want and use that.
With the pen you just want to draw out the letters R I P. If you want you can also add extra little details but that is how easy it is.

Idea 2 - Creepy Triangles
I don't really know how to describe this one but you can see from the pictures. It is just a creepy looking triangle design.
1. Paint your nails any dark colour. I chose a dark red but it's really up to you, black would look great too.
2. Take the thicker line applicator (if your nail art pen has one, I used a Wah London one) and draw a triangle from the bottom left and right corners to the middle of the top.
Those were two really quick and easy nail art designs perfect for Halloween. I hope you enjoyed this rambly post and that your excited for Halloween.

Halloween A Makeup & Outfit ♡

Pretty Little Liars is such a great show and although A was revealed quite a while ago, the thought of A still scares me, so I thought what better to dress up as if you are looking for a last minute makeup and costume for Halloween. I also think it would be super cool to dress up as one of the liars, I actually have an Aria Get The Look I did quite a while ago, which you can see here.

Makeup

Obviously there's lots of different makeup looks you could do to resemble A, but as it is Halloween, I think it looks good to do something smokey and a little scary.

Base makeup doesn't really matter too much, you can basically just use whatever you normally use, but as the eye makeup is going to be quite dark and heavy, I would recommend doing the eyes first then going back to the face.

I think a dark smokey eye look is perfect for A, so I would firstly get a dark grey eyeshadow and put it all over my eyelid then take a black eyeshadow and focus it on the outer corner and crease. Then blend blend blend, and apply some more black all over the lid and blend the edges then just keep applying the black until it is looking as intense and smokey as you want it. To add some contrast you could also take a white eyeshadow into your inner corners, to make the look pop that bit more.

This is the point I would probably do my base makeup, and I also think contouring is very important for that perfect A look, so I would contour my cheek bones a lot, and apply some highlight but probably not any blush.

Going back to the eyes, just to make them even more intense and add some more black, I would take a black kohl liner along my tight line and water line as when we did see A they (notice how I'm not giving away any spoilers, as much as I want to) did have quite a lot of eyeliner on. Obviously, A is the master of manipulating people so I think a lot of mascara is key to this look.

There are two options for the lips. The eye is not at all neutral so strictly speaking, you should wear a nude lipstick with it, but this is a Halloween look, so its the perfect opportunity to rock a dark lip, whether that's a dark red, more of a berry tone, or even a black.

This is a Halloween look, so if you want that extra bit more scariness you could add a scar as if A had been in a fight and got a scar. Fake scars are quite easy but if you want to see exactly, you can watch this tutorial.

Outfit
I'm going to be honest - A doesn't really have a trademark outfit, other than a black hoodie, so that is what I would recommend wearing. You could basically just dress in all black (black jeans, black shoes, black top and most importantly, A BLACK HOODIE). It's really simple and you can just make it out of clothes you already have.

Makeup Products Used:
Maybelline Warm Apricot Baby Skin - £7.99
Rimmel Radiance BB Cream - £6.99
Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer - £5.99
Maybelline Matte Maker - £3.99
Collection Eyes Uncovered Nude Bronze Palette - £3.99
Rimmel Glam Eyes Twilight Zone Trio - Black - ???
Benefit Bad Gal Waterproof Eyeliner - mini but full size is £15.50
MAC False Lashes Extreme Mascara - mini but full size is £19.00
Barbara Daly Designer Eyes Quartz Trio - bottom shade for contour - ???
Benefit High Beam Highlighter - mini but full size is £19.50
Rimmel Kate Moss 107 Lipstick - £5.49

And that's that. You are now officially A. It took me a while to think of an original idea (and I'm sure other people have thought of this but I haven't seen many videos or blog posts on this and I thought it would be a cool thing to do) but I hope you liked it. Let me know what you are going as for Halloween in the comments.

First Impressions: Rimmel Kate Moss 107 ♡

For ages, I have wanted to try the Rimmel Kate Moss lipsticks, especially the 107 one (that may or may not be because of Zoe Sugg) and I kind of picked it up the other day. I got this as a complete bargain because in England this is £5.49 and in the cosmetics shop they had it on sale from €8 to €4 which is just under £3 wooooo.

So anyway, now that I have tried this lipstick out a bit more I am going to talk about my first impressions.

Quality
When you put this on, it is so creamy (even though it's matte) and easy to apply without being drying. Also it is so pigmented when you out it on your lips and the colour is every strong which is amazing. The staying power is beyond anything I would have ever imagined. I put this on in the morning and it did not budge until I ate lunch. Even then, it hardly budged it just faded a bit. Probably not this colour (unless you want to of course) but one of these lipsticks would be perfect for school or work or a party as it lasts so well, and stays on when you eat and drink.

Packaging
The packaging of this is pretty cute - I mean it's not stunning but it's pretty sleek looking and I like the red and black together.

Price
If I tried this product and didn't know it was Rimmel I would think it was MAC or high end, so the fact that it is only £5.49 usually is amazing.

Other Things
I also just want to add that the shade range is amazing - I have to say it is mostly bright or dark colours but there are also a few nudes that look really nice so you can basically get any colour you want. This one is a matte finish and it is a gorgeous autumnal dark reddy berry colour but they also have a normal range (as in they aren't matte). The ones in the all black packaging are the normal, more lacquery, shiny ones and the ones with red packaging are matte finish. One thing I'm not so keen on is the scent, I'm sure most people would like it, it's very fruity, but it's not too big of a deal as you can't smell it when it's on your lips (luckily.)

Rating
I have to say, I would give this a 4.9 stars. The only reason its not a 5 is because of the scent. Honestly, I think these are as good as the MAC lipsticks, apart from obviously the shade range isn't as big.

Rimmel and Kate Moss have created an amazing range of lipsticks!

Have you tried the Rimmel Kate Moss lipsticks?

Autumn Pamper Evening ♡

Autumn...pamper evenings. Pamper evenings are one of my favourite parts of autumn so today be and Emma thought we would continue with our autumn series and talk about our autumn pamper evenings. Like always, all her links will be at the bottom of this post.
I'm going to keep this quite casual and just chat through with a few pictures.
Before I properly start my pamper evening there are a few things I love to do in autumn. Autumn leaves are beautiful. Autumn is beautiful. So in autumn I love going on little walks, whether that's down some cute little lanes or into the woods. I also love taking pictures of autumn so I might go into my garden and take some pictures of the leaves and things like that.
The first thing I would do on a pamper evening is to put on some music. I'm sure you can guess what music I am always listening to at the minute and yes, it's still Troye Sivan's WILD. After that I will just sit on my phone for a good fifteen or twenty minutes and then go into the bathroom and run the bath.
Then I will pick what products I want to use (it is usually Lush and Zoella Beauty, also I love lighting candles) run my bath, put them in and get into my warm bath and lay there and just relax for a while, whilst watching YouTube.
Whilst I'm in the bath I will wash my body with the Original Source Vanilla and Raspberry Shower Gel (surprise surprise) and scrub any dead skin off my skin using a body scrub (I don't even know what one I'm using at the moment) and lay back for a few more minutes before getting out and moisturising my body with the Soap and Glory Righteous Butter (favourite thing ever).
Once I'm out and dry, I will put some pyjamas on then do my skincare - you can read my skincare routine if you want to know the exact products but it literally hasn't changed.
(mountains and a cat this picture is great)
After that, I will most likely just read. I am not a big reader but at the moment I'm reading Divergent. I literally just finished it about two minutes ago and it was just INCREDIBLE. Then it's movie and snack time, so I will grab a cup of tea or hot chocolate (magic stars hot chocolate is the champion) and some kind of food, most likely chocolate, and and snuggle with a blanket on my sofa watching whatever movie I pick and then eventually fall asleep.
And that is literally it. It's simple but I don't like to do too much as doing less is more relaxing.
What do you do on a pamper evening?

Little Autumn Fashion Haul ♡

Its no secret that I'm a complete shopaholic. And as I keep saying, autumn fashion is my favourite, so I have been picking up a few items recently, so I thought I would put them together into a collective autumn fashion haul. I have only bought three things but I think they are all so amazing and special and I know they are all going to be staple pieces for me.

Lefties
So this shop has so many beautiful pieces in (according to my aunt it sells old stock of Zara but I can never find anything that I like and fits/suits me in there so it confuses me). Anyway I picked up a pair of jeggings in here. They fit me super well, other than they are a bit long but I'm tiny so I was expecting that and I can just roll them up. They are a dark grey faded kind of colour, and I know I'm going to wear them a lot as they go with everything and would just look perfect with a cosy jumper or a cute top.

Natura
There was a bit of a saga with this but as soon as I saw it I fell in love with it and a couple of weeks later I got it and it is so so cute. It is oversized and has bat wings which I have always seen people wearing but never tried, and I love it. I also think the quote on it is so important. I think it would look really cute with some jeans and boots and a scarf.

Bijou Brigitte
I have been wanting a new scarf for a while now, and I saw a huge tartan one in this shop, but I tried it on and it completely drowned me out so I looked at some others and found this one and fell in love with it. It is a gorgeous red, burgundy and green and maybe even a bit of navy tartan scarf. I am honestly obsessed with it, the colours are so autumnal but the red is also quite vibrant so it goes with everything but it brings a bit of colour to an outfit.

That's everything I've been buying recently. Not much but quality over quantity eh? Hope you all enjoyed this post, be sure to leave me a comment if you did. If you want me to do a lookbook with these items and some more let me know and I will definitely do that.

What have you been buying recently?

Autumn Fashion Roundup ♡

I love autumn. But you know that, because I'm always going on about that. But one reason why I love autumn is the fashion. At some point, in autumn I will be doing a look book kind of post, but for now I thought I would browse the wonderful world of online shopping and find some clothes which I personally think are perfect for autumn and what's in fashion right now. This is also a part of me and Emma's autumn series so I will of course out her links at the bottom and she is doing an autumn fashion post too but I think she is doing a look book.

New Look

Scarves, to me, are a must in autumn. They keep you warm, look beautiful and really bring an outfit together. This one is a classic red plaid print. I am definitely going to pick this up (although honestly I want to pick up every piece in this post, otherwise they wouldn't be included).
I know a lot of people love wearing black leggings in autumn, but you could add something extra to your outfit by wearing a pair of patterned leggings instead.
I've seen a lot of people, on YouTube and out and about, wearing this colour recently. It's called Rust and that name makes it sound like it would be a gross colour, but it really isn't.
Jumpers are the ultimate autumn staple.
I am honestly in love with this jumper and this, the scarf and one other thing, are top of my autumn wishlist. I love the design and the colour just screams autumn.
This is the other thing that's at the top of my autumn wishlist. They are very on trend right now and they are just a staple that go with everything and look amazing, so I definitely recommend you pick some up.
High necks are a world I've never explored, but a very popular world, and this top just looks very classic with the stripes and high neck.

Topshop
Every youtuber has been putting this in their autumn hauls (and trust me, I've watched probably every one on YouTube) and it is just a gorgeous denim jacket with a fur lining. How can you not be in love with this?

H&M
Little cardigans like this are perfect for layering. And khaki is such a beautiful autumnal colour.
I've kind of fallen in love with this dress. The pattern is so different and I love how the high neck and three quarter length sleeves work together. This would look perfect with some black tights and a pair of booties.

I could go on about autumn fashion all day, but I think I'll leave it there. I hope you enjoyed this post, it was different to my normal posts but I really enjoyed writing it. If you want the links to any of these items, just comment or contact me and I will give it to you. I hope this inspired you to adventure with clothing a bit more or if it just made you want to go shopping, sorry!

Do you prefer autumn fashion or summer fashion?
