The Coolest Nail Art Pen ♡

There I was painting my nails, after I had spent a very long time being indecisive about which nail polish to choose, and after they had dried, a few hours later actually, I remembered I had been given a nail art pen by my sister for my birthday.

So I tried it out, and I was very very impressed, so I thought I would write a little post about it.

This nail art pen is from the brand Wah London, which I hadn't really heard of that much, apart from walking past them in Boots, but having a look at their brand online, it looks pretty impressive, and they have lots of useful nail art products, as well as nail polsishes with 5 star reviews, so I would recommend going to their brand if you need nail art products. but they also have a massive range of shades of nail art pens, and they are so cool! Here's why:

So, the packaging is really cool first of all, the tube is pretty basic packaging but is "aesthetically pleasing" as my tech teacher would say, but it comes in a compact little box. Also, on the back there are instructions of how to use it.

Can we just talk about how cool this pen is? It is really opaque which is always an essential with nail stuff, and it has two uses. Don't you just hate it on the rare ocassion where you decide to take time on your nails and you try and do a line and it is all wonky? Yep, me too, but 'Wah' have sorted it out, by having two different applicators. But they aren't just on both ends!

To use the free-hand applicator, you just pull the lid off, but if you want to draw lines that aren't all wonky, you can twist the lid off. How cool is that?!

Sorry if this post has been pretty rambly, the pictures will show you better, but I thought it was really cool and just had to share it with you all.

♡Spring Essentials♡

The flowers are blooming, the clocks have changed, spring is finally here! So what better way to bring in spring on my blog than to do my spring beauty and fashion essentials. Here they are:

Sleek Storm Palette
Yes, I know, this is in basically all my posts, but it is just a gorgeous palette with an amazing array of different colours, and you can mix the neutrals with some more daring colours in spring. The wuality is beyond belief, the shadows are so pigmented, if you want a full review click here.

MUA Bubblegum Blusher
This blush is perfect for spring, as it is so pigmented and just gives a nice pink flush to your cheeks, and it's really small so it can easily slip into your makeup bag.

Collection Cream Puff in Fairy Cake
Looking at this lip product just makes me think of spring. It's a gorgeous coral pink colour and it applies really matte and stays for such a long time. Bright colours are a lot more popular in Spring and this is amazing value, so you should definitely check it out if you like brighter colours.

Soap & Glory Righteous Butter
I got like 3 of these in sets for my birthday, so I have been using it so much! It smells amazing, first of all, and it makes your skin feel so soft, (which in the spring, when you're wearing shorts and even going in the pool sometimes, is needed) but it dries quickly so your not waiting around for it to dry.

Garnier Micellar Water
This is raved about so much on youtube, but it's so worth it because it is amazing. It gets all your makeup off in a swipe and makes your skin so amazing!

Barry M Peach Melba Nail Polish
I bought this recently, and it's the most gorgeous spring colour and amazingly opaque. I will talk more about it and other spring nail polishes in a post all about nails.

Soap & Glory Girligo Body Mist
This smells too good. It's got that signature soap and glory sweet smell and it is just the nicest spring smell I love it a lot.

Primark White Lace Tank Top
This is just a staple top for spring as it's so cute and basic and you can style it so many different ways as it goes with everything.

H&M Grey Flowy Cardigan
I love this because in spring there is still a breeze and it goes with everything as its grey and it keeps you warm, so get one here.

New Look Denim Acid Wash Shorts
These are a new addition to my wardrobe, but definitely a good one, they are just really basic and the acid wash is so pretty. I know they are going to be a staple for me this spring, so I highlyrecommend going to get yourself some from here.
I also think kimonos and lace are going to be really big this spring.

So they were al my spring essentials. I hope you enjoyed it and are excited for all the spring posts coming soon.

♡A Thing About Spring Tag♡

Hey beauties

So spring is here and lots of spring posts are approaching. But today, I have a more chatty post which is a tag about spring. Thank you to Ellie, click here to go to her blog, for tagging me and this tag was made by Katie, click here.

I tag:

1. Favourite Spring Lip?
In spring, I really love my pink lips, whether they are light and natural or bright and brave. At the moment, I am really loving my Collection Cream Puff in Fairy Cake, as it's just a really gorgeous bright coral pink, but you can get away with it and it dries quite matte.

2. Favourite Spring Eye Make up Look?
I love having warmer toned eye shadows in spring, cream eyeshadows are easy to wear and look really good, so I love my Maybelline Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze, but especially in spring, I love my Seventeen Metallic Cream eyeshadow *can't find the shade* as its basically the same as the pink gold Maybelline one.

3. Favourite Spring Nail Polish?
Wow, how can I pick one? I love pastels a lot in spring, they just look so amazing, but I don't know how I can pick one! One of my all time favourite spring colours is my Mavala nail polish in Mystic as its such an opaque pastel purple colour.

4. Spring trend you are most looking forward to?
Not an exact trend, but I am looking forward a lot to cute tank tops with shorts and some dolly shoes or pumps. And pastel clothing, it will be nice to venture away from monochrome and wear something more colourful.

5. Spring Must Have?
Everything pink. And Baby Lips.

6. Favourite Spring Colours?
Pastel colours. Pastel pink, pastel purple, baby blue, mint green, pale yellow. Pastels.

7. Are you a Spring Cleaner?
No way. I can never be bothered to clean, whoops! I occasionally am really bored and will just sort through a drawer or my wardrobe, but not particularly in spring.

8. Favourite Flowers at Spring Time?
I'm not really that interested in flowers, but I love the way they look, especially in spring when they've all blossomed and everything looks so flowery and springy! I love tulips, as they're my mums favourite so I see them a lot and they're gorgeous.

9. Favourite Brand of Easter Egg?
You can't beat a cadbury egg! My favourite are the Mini Egg ones as they are so yummy and mini eggs are up there with my favourite chocolates. Also, I love the Malteaser eggs.

10. Overall Favourite Thing About Spring?
The bright colourful atmosphere, and how everything seems so much more friendly and warm. Also, the hot weather is amazing, and how you can spend a lot more time outside.

I hope you enjoyed this little tag, let me know in the comments if you did.

Also, just to let you know, it's the Easter holidays now, so I will be posting more. I will try and post as much as possible, I can't commit to being able to post every day, but I will definitely try and post every other day.

♡Day Trip Essentials♡

Hey beauties

I know, I know, where are the spring posts? They're coming don't worry, but tomorrow I am going on a school trip to London, so I thought I would show you some essentials for travelling and going on a day trip, especially as you may be doing that in the Easter Holidays (which are very very soon eeeek)!

So my first essential is food. Sorry but how can you go on a day trip without food? Aha in the picture I look like such an unhealthy person! I will be taking sandwiches and healthy food too, but they're not really that photogenic are they?😂

A scarf. I recommend a big cosy one, that you can use as a blanket on the coach (or car or train or whatever) and if you want to have a nap or just feel cosy, as well as obviously keeping warm when you're outside.

Socks. I cannot stress enough how amazing socks are on journeys. Especially if, like me, you have to wear school uniform, and spend 4-7 hours of your day on a coach. And then the rest of the time will be walking around. Your feet will get really sore and uncomfortable so socks are just Magic.

A body spray or perfume is a must. Like I said, you will be spending a lot of time on a coach (or car or other form of transport) with lots of people and not much fresh air, so you may start to reek a little. And that's when a body spray comes in handy. This one is an Impluse, I recommend them because they're really cheap and smell good and they're just handy.

A little beauty bag. I would keep maybe a little bit of makeup for top ups, if you are wearing makeup that day, a hairbrush, and some makeup wipes maybe, as if you are coming back late at night and want to take your makeup off, or they just come in handy if you have a spillage or a little accident haha. Also, tissues are very helpful, especially if, like me, you are always ill or have hay fever or allergies.

LIFE HACK: NOBODY REALLY WANTS TO CARRY AROUND A MASSIVE PACK OF 20 FACE WIPES, SO BEFORE YOU LEAVE JUST TAKE ONE OR TWO AND PUT THEM IN ONE OF THE SEALABLE FREEZER BAGS (you probably have them in your house but if not, you can buy packs of like 50 for like 50p) AND IT WILL KEEP IT MOIST AND WONT DRY OUT.

Your phone obviously. And headphones, because sometimes if you have to spend hours on end with people, you just want something to drown them out with. And music is perfect.

If you're going on a day trip, then I recommend carrying this in a backpack, or rucksack same thing, as walking around in a big group, you won't be able to stop to put your bag down, and everyone else will have heavy bags too, so if you have a rucksack you will have free hands to do activities or whatever you are doing, instead of having to carry a heavy bag on your arm or shoulder.

So that's everything for today, I hope you enjoyed this post. I will be back soon with another post, I love you all!

♡New Rimmel Nail Polishes First Impressions♡

Hey beauties

So recently I saw on an advert that Rimmel had brought out a new line of nail polishes, the 60 Seconds Super Shine range, and I have ups and downs with the normal 60 Seconds ones, so I wasn't sure whether to buy one, but then my sister got me one for my birthday, so I thought I would just do a blog post telling you my first impressions and some pictures of them.

This is NOT sponsored I just wanted to tell you guys my opinion on this new nail polish range. Also, this is part of the blogger project. #summerbp2015 so look at that hashtag on Instagram if you want more spring related post.

So the shade I got given was the shade 855 Too Cool To Tango, I think it's such a cute name and its a gorgeous mint green colour, so let's try it out...

OH MY GOD GUYS THIS IS AMAZING
The brush is quite thick and its so easy to apply, it goes on really opaque, this is what it looks like with one coat.
So this looks okay and you could probably get away with one coat, but for me I think two coats is needed.
So the name states it should be dry in 60 seconds. I forgot to check after exactly that, but after about 75 I felt it and it feels dry and I have been trying to smudge it but it doesn't budge, let me try doing another coat now.
This is it with two coats, it's so opaque and an absolutely gorgeous colour. I did try and smudge it after about 50 seconds, but it really wasn't dry so it has smudged a bit.

I woud give this nail polish 7/10 because it does need two coats for me, but it applies easily and without being messy, and the shade range is good, there is a shade for everyone, and some really nice shades for spring. It does dry in less than 2 minutes, although I'm not sure about 60 seconds. It does give a nice shine, as the name states, so I would recommend them.

♡My Birthday!♡

Hey beauties
So today I thought I would just show you a few presents I got for my birthday, not a proper detailed post, but just with some pictures and things. I just want to say I am so grateful for everything I got and love it all. Yes, I did get mostly chocolate and sweets.

To be honest, I just loved being with my friends and family and am so appreciative of all these gifts. I can't believe I am now a teenager omg!
So a few little beauty things I got were: Garnier Micellar Water, Simple eye makeup remover pads, a Rimmel 60 Seconds Super shine nail polish (tell me if you want a first impressions on this and I will do one), a white nail art pen and a Nivea Fruity Shine lip balm in Peach.

Haha I got a lot of food, my friends know me so well! This isn't even all of it! I got a lot of Oreos as they are my favourite, some chocolate, mini eggs and some Nerds. Ooooh the Easter nerds are amazing omg.
I also got two Soap & Glory sets, so I am stocked up on my Soap and Glory for a while. I got the Soaper Heroes set and the Clean Getaway set.
I also got some clothes, so I thought I would show you the two dresses I got. I first of all got this really cute kind of vintage look pink dress with floral patterns on it, and an adorable white lace skater dress.

I hope you guys enjoyed this little post. I didn't show you everything just picked a few things. Once again, I am so grateful. If you want a review or first impressions or some other post with any thing mentioned, please let me know and I will be sure to do it. I will be back soon with another post.

Keep smiling :)

♡Room Decoration Ideas♡

Hey guys
So today I have a room decor post, as I did one before but it was so bad, so I'm trying again today, this time it is a collab with Madeline from Always Smiling. So go check out her blog and instagram and her version of this post.

I have three little ideas to make your room more cute and we heart it, so let's get started...

Quick & Easy Brush Holder

  • A glass (or plastic) clear container
  • Beads from an old jewellery kit
  • Makeup brushes
So most girls will still have an old jewellery making kit from when they were younger, and the chances are you will still have some beads left in it.
All you need to do is, either just use all of them and make it random, or pick out some of your favourite colours and use just those colour beads. I chose just to use pastel pink, pastel purple and white to go with my room, and put them in a glass container type thing.

It will just look like this:

Then you add some brushes:

Cosy Corner

  • Cushions
  • Blankets
  • Cosy stuff
So it's nice to have that area in your room where you can just go and relax on your electronics, or reading a book, or watching your favourite programme or movie.
It's a really easy idea, just pick the corner of your room that you want to be THE cosy corner - you probably want it to be near a plug because us teenagers and young people like our electronics, and it's so annoying when your comfortable and you have to move to charge your phone or computer or whatever - and throw a blanket on the floor, and cushions against the wall, then sit down, grab some more pillows and blankets and relax.

Quote Poster
  • Picture (landscape or any other picture that doesn't have faces because they'll just get cut out.)
  • Printer (to print the picture)
  • Scissors
  • Blu Tack
  • Wall
This is pretty simple. All you have to do is print out a picture (maybe like a sunset), it can be as big or small as you want, and on the back draw backwards the letters of the quote you want to use. Do more of what makes you happy. Just say yes. Think postive. Stay hopeful. Tears remind you you're alive. Once you've drawn it out, cut it out with some scissors. Don't make the writing too small or flimsy otherwise the poster won't work well. Done? Just put a bit of blu tack on each corner and stick it to your wall. it will look especially good if your wall colour or wallpaper goes with the picture. That's the last DIY, it's a lot easier than having to cut out all the letters and stick them separately.

I hope you all enjoyed this room decoration post.
Keep smiling :)

♡Haul// Lush, Zoella Beauty & More♡

Hey beauties
So today I have a little random haul for you all. I'm not including the makeup I have bought recently, as I haven't bought much and I'm saving it for a collective haul which will be up separately soon.

Lush
I bought quite a few things from Lush recently. I've been in on two separate occasions. The first time the Easter range wasn't out yet, so I got:

Space Girl bath bomb
I love this so much, I've already used, but it made my bath so amazing, it's smells quite musky but its a nice smell. In fact, I love it so much it was in my February favourites.

Ickle Baby Bot bath ballistic
This is a pretty basic bath bomb, it just gives your bath a blue tint and makes your skin feel so soft. Its nice but I wouldn't buy it again because its not really worth it.

Creamy Candy bubble bar
This was from the Valentines Day range, I ended up giving it to a friend but it smelled amazing and looked so cute and pastel pink.

Fluffy Egg bath bomb
This is what I just bought from the Easter range. Its sooo amazing omg. It smells so sweet and good and looks so cool. I would've bought the whole Easter range, it all looked amazing.

WHSmith
So this was the first place I went as I had a gift card that I got for Christmas that I hadn't used yet. Me being me, I didn't actually buy books though.

The first thing I bought was a 24 pack of sharpies that was meant to be £16 but it was £8.50 if you bought anything else. I've been using them so much at school and for my homework, they were such a bargain and they included pastels so I had to get them!

I then bought Pitch Perfect, which was £5 and this is on of my favourite movies but I didn't own it on DVD so I thought I would get it.
The only other things I bought were sweets basically.

Superdrug
So the only thing I'm including in this haul from here was the Zoella Beauty Soak Opera which I have been using so much since I got it and it smells amazing and makes your bath so bubbly and your skin so smooth. I like to pair it with a bath bomb from Lush when I'm pampering myself.

Clintons
I really wanted to buy some candles, but I thought they didn't have Yankee Candles at my shopping centre, I was walking past Clintons and saw them and screamed. I only ended up getting one but I got the Yankee Candle Small Jar in Salted Caramel. This is the most amazing sweet scent, it's gorgeous. It was on offer because it was apparently a Christmas one, but they need to start doing this scent all year round, as it's amazing!

So that's it for my random stuff haul, I hope you enjoyed it, I will have a makeup haul up some time soon.
Keep smiling :)

♡New Look Pure Colour Makeup♡

Hey beauties

So quite a few clothing shops have makeup lines. The most well known is probably Topshop. But a lot of people shop for clothes at New Look, and just walk past the makeup they have. But today I wanted to tell you that next time you go there, don't rush past the makeup, stop and have a look because it is very good. Click here to browse the makeup line.

I haven't tried that many products from the line, but I thought I would do a review on it anyway. If you want a full review of it, Fleur did one so click here.

This line is such good quality and amazing value. Seriously, the ones I've tried from it are amazing and deserve a lot more hype.

I'll start with the product I have used the most. Sorry that this is in basically all my posts, but I've never found any mascara better - it's the most amazing! I like the New Look Pure Definition mascara. This is meant for definition, but I think more than that, it gives the perfect amount of volume and length, but you don't feel like your wearing any mascara. It's £5 I think, but it's better than any other mascara I've tried. You can just do one coat and you get amazing long volumised but still natural lashes, and if you do a few coats, you can look like your wearing false lashes. If I had to say one bad thing about it, it would be that when you take it out it's pretty clumpy and you have to wipe it, but a lot of mascaras are like that.
(This is what my lashes looked like with it on at the end of a long school day.)

The next thing I've tried is the eyeliners. The only one I've tried is the black one, it's amazingly pigmented and goes on really smoothly and doesn't smudge or come off through the day. If you do want to smudge or blend it, it's got a sort of creamy feel, so it blends really easily. The packaging to mine broke quite easily but it still works fine and doesn't make a mess, so that's not too big of a problem.
Haha yes I did write ily in eyeliner, and you can see it comes out really black, because I just wanted to say I love you all and I am so grateful to anyone who takes the time to read my blog.

The last thing I have tried are the eyeshadows. The pigmentation is incredible and they last a long time, although they can smudge a bit of its raining a lot. I have 13 Cream and 25 Chestnut. The one thing that I would say is that although the colour selection is nice, they are mostly shimmery colours. But they are amazing value single eye shadows and are worth trying, especially as the packaging reminds me of Mac, its very sleek.

If you were wondering, they have special packs like ones with matching lipsticks and nail polishes, and the one I got which had the mascara, black eyeliner and two eyeshadows in really gorgeous neutral shades, for £7 which is amazing!

I will definitely be trying more soon and I really recommend you do too.

This post is not sponsored, I just thought I would do a review and let everyone know how good the makeup is.

Keep smiling :)

♡Life Update♡

Hey beauties

So todays post is going to be nothing to do with beauty, I thought I would just do a little post saying what I've been up to recently and what's coming up.

So today has been such a sunny day and I went to the beach, as its not too far from where I live. It was so sunny and nice and we had fish and chips and now I'm so excited for spring and summer!

School is boring as usual :/ my birthdays coming up which is exciting and the Easter holidays.

So I have lots of fun blog posts coming up and I think when I get home tonight and tomorrow, I'm going to completely plan out all my posts for January, as I have been inspired by other bloggers.

I think I'm going to do a spring series, so every other post will be something about spring. Also, I am going to start doing advice posts on certain topics.

If any of you want to collab, please contact me, the best way is Instagram but also via twitter or in the comments?

If people wonder why I do so many collabs, it's because its a nice way of making friends and getting your blog out there, as well as getting theirs out there, and it can help the readers find new blogs to read too.

So I don't really have much else to say, I hope you guys had a nice weekend and are looking forward to spring. I'll see you guys soon with a more beauty related post.

♡February Favourites♡

Hey guys

So february has been quite a fun month. How was your month? Tell me in the comments.

This post is a collab with the lovely Ellie. She has a really good blog and she's a really nice girl, especially as she didn't arrest me :D to go to her blog, you can click here and to go to her instagram, you can click here.

So, I don't have that many favourites this month, as I've basically been using the same as last month, but anyway, as usual I'm going to start with beauty favourites...

Lush
My lush favourite has been Space Girl. I hadn't tried it before this month but I used it the other day, and no joke, it is so amazing! There is a video of what it does in the bath on my instagram here, but definitely try it out, because it's the best bath bomb ever.

Makeup
So one makeup product in particular I have been loving is my Sleek palette in Storm. I did a full review on this, which you can read here. I have been wearing it a lot when I don't have school and you can make so many looks, it's gorgeous.

I've also rediscovered my Baby Lips this month. They're not the most moisturising, but they give your lips a nice tint of colour.

Fashion
My onesie omg. Sorry not sorry :) in February we had half term so I spent most of the month in my onesie and just comfy clothes.

Nails
So two nail polishes I have really been loving are both pastel colours.
The first one is from this Juicy nail varnish set my friend gave me for Christmas, it's a nice pastel pink colour and is opaque so it's good once you've had one coat. The other is a Mavala nail varnish in a matte pastel purple colour called Mystic, which is really opaque, like the first one.

TV
Pretty Little Liars. Obviously. Sorry I have been talking about it in all my recent posts, but there is no question, I have literally been obsessed with this show since I started watching it, thanks to Gabby. I am quite near the end of season 3 now and it's amazing. I literally shout stuff at my iPad whilst I'm watching this show. If you don't watch it, you need to.

YouTubers
So I have been loving a lot of youtubers, but some particular favourites this month are Gabby, who is amazing and just go subscribe to her because her videos are amazing and her vlogs are hilarious, Quisha, who has an amazing channel and uploads so regularly it's amazing, also she has some amazing videos about anxiety, Eve, who is one of my all time favourite Youtubers, her channel is gorgeous and her editing is flawless. Caitlin Rose is one of my biggest inspirations, perfect channel and Jim, who you all probably know but he is bae and can always put a smile on my face.

Music
So I don't really have that many music favourites this month. I've been quite liking Sam Smith this month, especially the song Like I Can, which I've been listening to on repeat. Also, I've still been loving 1989 by Taylor Swift.

I really need to listen to some different music so if you have any recommendations comment them below and I will definitely check them out.

Food & Drink
Mini eggs. I probably talked about them in all my recent posts but seriously they are my favouritest thing ever. So yummy!

A drink I have been loving is the Galaxy Frothy Top hot chocolate. I got this the other day and literally, it makes your hot chocolates so frothy and sweet and amazing.

Book
I'm not much of a reader, but this month I bought Love Tanya and I think it is the best thing ever! If you don't have this book you should definitely get your hands on one because it is just perfect, it has sections about her childhood, sections about makeup, hair, fashion, love, confidence and so much more! And a cheeky Q&A at the end:) JUST BUY IT IF YOU LOVE TANYA

So I think that's all my favourites, remember to go check out Ellie's blog and read her version of this post.

Keep smiling xx
